Based on the four articles I’ve read this week, I learned that the personal learning network (PLN) is a collection of colleagues, mentors, and experts with whom you interact to accelerate your learning and take control of your professional growth. It’s a worldwide online community that enables you to access a vast reservoir of information while focusing on the aspects of learning that are most important to you. PLNs are particularly helpful at a time when new knowledge and ideas are transforming the globe at a far quicker rate than ever recorded before.

The emergence of the personal e-learning space as a technology in the vision of educators is most significant in terms of its ability to solve problems in teaching and learning and optimize teaching and learning. Returning to the definition of educational technology, researchers believe that academic research should focus on developing learning resources or technologies, the learning process of learners, and the current state of classroom teaching and learning.

I reposted a video from YouTube about developing your personal learning network, by @NRC CILT.
